Haha, that's so true. It seems as if Morinaga-sensei's short and dark-haired characters have a bit of an "tsun tsun" characteristic... well, somewhat. I really do hope there will be lots of sleepovers. It doesn't matter which house, but it certainly will be interesting if it's at Akko's house because they're most likely going to be alone. Well, Mari's house is okay too. I kind of want to see Akko meet Mari's family. XD

@K.: Yeah, if we base it on the number of chapters per volume, chapter 28 is the seventh chapter, and according to the pattern supposedly ends the volume. But hopefully this is an exception. I really want the kissing pattern to continue, so I'm hoping chapter 27 is the last chapter for the 4th volume even if the kissing scene at the end wasn't shown. Of course, if chapter 29 is miraculously the end for the 4th volume, then I'm hoping for a visible kiss scene there too. XD I doubt chapter 29 will be included in the 4th volume though. >.<

@Anonymous: The page says that the next release is on January 22nd, and it's worth 600Yen. If I'm not wrong, they'll be having "Chu-Bra!" on it and is advertising the anime that's airing in January 04. Beneath that would be an introduction to a series that's been always awaited, and then the end of the series "Hitohira" in this January issue, and then the continuation of the rest of the series which includes "?GIRL FRIENDS??????" (GIRL FRIENDS MORINAGA MILK). Eh.. correct me of I'm wrong. Well that's what I roughly think it is. >_<! Sorry since like I said, I'm not really good at reading or writing, and on directly translating. Still learning. :)

I did the kiss per volume count, too. Mari & Akko seem to be kissing on the last page of 27, but it's not shown, so that may be MM's trick just to keep the pattern.

I sure hope there will be another volume or three of GF. I stole a look at the raws on mangahelper, only a few pages. It's always bittersweet for us illiterates to do that. I stopped after 2 pages and am trying hard to be patient...

I think I'm going insane with all the Yuri mangas on hold. I wish we had FOURTEEN freakin' pages of this genre on Mangafox (like Yaoi); that way, we'll be too distracted and giggling with glee to mind other Yuri that are being updated.

And I whole-heartedly agree with everyone here on the subject of Girlfriends continuing on for a while. Most straight animes/manga end when the two main characters get together because the relationship will more or less be virtually accepted by family and friends, leaving it now in the wild imaginations of fans. Same sex ones are much more of a hassle for the people around the characters, unless they are all miraculously open-minded and accepting of homosexual love. Also, it'd be interesting to see how they would go about in public, and how, if they would, keep their relationship a secret.
